My photography cohorts Jami and Alison and I went on a shoot. We drove down some back roads and found some treasures. Here are a few I edited last night. Then we headed over to the casino. No luck for me, but Alison came out ahead a bit. I'm not exactly a high roller, playing the $0.02 machine, but I have fun.
Sometimes if there was no shoulder on the road, we just pulled over to shoot. The hay was freshly, um, cut? Harvested? Rolled up in big circular bales? I don't know the correct farming terminology. But it was pretty, alright?
This was the most elusive of our locales for shooting. There is no drive or entrance to the place, and the home closest to it scared us, so we didn't ask if we could shoot there. My poor van was parked right at the road on a wicked angle. We basically fell out of the van to shoot. The things we do for a good picture. Notice that I cropped out the numerous "no trespassing" signs. Isn't PS wonderful?
And thanks to Alison I am hankering for Lightroom. She showed it to me in action, and I feel I must own in. I downloaded the free trial version last night . . . I think I'm already hooked. YIKES.
