like the fact that I'm still in my pj's and have completed roughly 80% of my shopping online. I'm not a "wait in line for something that has gone on sale that I REALLY don't need but the deal was just too good to pass up" kind of shopper. Nope, that's not me. Instead I make a list and shop online the Black Friday deals (and there are so many more that are online as well as in store" and I narrow it down to those items I was intending to purchase.
I'm also thankful that I didn't have to make the pie that my mini-Martha there is holding. The leaf crust was a major hit, as well as the pumpkin rolls she made. They were also amazing. She did not pick up her culinary skills from me, that's fo' sure.
Em, Jen and I made these cute little placecards for the table using the Cricut Expression based on these cards by Roree Rumph. They were so cute! I don't quite know what possessed me to make them 45 minutes before the guests arrived, but we got them done and everyone loved them.
Mostly I am thankful for my amazing family. It was so nice that everyone was able to make the festivities, including my nephew who is a deputy and often has to work holidays. We are all doing so well, considering, and for that I am most thankful. I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving, and I leave you with a picture of me and my girls. Enjoy this long weekend!
