The three day extravaganza included dress rehearsal Friday night, a show Saturday afternoon (3 hours), and a show Sunday afternoon (3.5 hours.) It takes the whole weekend out of the running for free time.
This is the bean getting ready for dress rehearsal. We had to show up at 6 p.m., and it was 10:30 before we got out of there. I was hopping mad. It's just too late for these young ones. And frankly too much for their old parents.
Em did the hair and the makeup for the rehearsal and for Saturday. That helps me so much because I stress out over getting the hair done.
I'll share the cupcakes she made over the weekend at a later post. They were AMAZING. Martha would be proud.
The only time we could take pics was during dress rehearsal. It was dark, I was shooting at 3200 ISO, and they aren't the best quality. But I captured the moment, and that is all that counts.
Here is the whole group. They never really mastered the dance, and it progressively got worse. But they had fun and that's all that counts.
Here is the final bow with all of the dancers. She always looks so starstruck!
The fans from Saturday. Check out all of the flowers she got. Can you say DIVA?
With Aunt Beth on Sunday.
And with her biggest fan . . .
who bought her a dozen roses. For serious.
