Photos on Tuesday - Butterflies
Every year there is a butterfly exhibit in town, and it's a sure sign of spring. We went on Sunday and here are some of my shots.

Feeling a bit sorry for myself . . .
that I'm not in a warm climate like the rest of this town for spring break. But family time mixed with down time is good for the soul. We are getting away for a few days, so I can't complain. I do, but I shouldn't.
Wish I had more scrappiness to share, but working on deadlines so I can't. Excited to have been asked to contribute to an article . . . sent that off yesterday. Then worked on finishing off the March Studio Calico kit.
This is layout #5
Hopefully tomorrow there will be layout #6, the final layout. I have subbed since January, and so far I've killed each kit. To me, that's completing 6 or more layouts.
Tomorrow I'll show some butterfly pics I took last weekend.

Snow. Day. Heaven.
TWO days in a row. In March. LATE March. The week before spring break begins. WOW. Can I just say I am THRILLED?!?!?!?!?!?! About the snow on the ground? Well, that can leave ANY TIME NOW. For serious.
Here's what I did. I am still determined to use my Studio Calico kits each month. It's important to me that I don't hoard my supplies. So here is #2 with the kit.
And #3 is a layout of Jenna and a beloved friend Courtney. We miss her!
And the #4 is a layout of Jenna and my bestie from high school's dd. They have a blast together!
Well, it's off to work for a day, then a week off. BLESSED, I tell you!

A little of this, a little of that . . .
It was a BUSY week last week, and a busy weekend. I can't believe it's Monday. Although I also can't believe it's the last week before Spring Break. I'm SO ready for a break. And a half. The warmer weather has been a blessing to be sure. Amazing what a little sun and warmth will do for the soul.
Not much scrapping time, but I thought I'd share a few things with you. First, here is a layout I did for the Sassafras March Challenge. There is still time to enter!!!
Here is another layout for Sassafras using the Sweetly Smitten line. LOVE LOVE LOVE those foldies. I used a Pencil Lines sketch for this one!
I've only gotten one Studio Calico layout done this month so far. Hopefully I'll have a little time this week. I pride myself on using up the kits, AKA being a "Kit Killer," and I have a lot of work to do!

Photoshop Tuesday
I need to take pictures in the WORST WAY! I was such a slacker this winter. I truly hibernate in the winter. But as the spring approaches, I'm really excited to get out again and shoot.
In the meantime I did some editing of photos I already have, and here are some options.

Edit #1 - a bit of an urban look with a tint (Florabella Actions modified)
A different crop with a little content aware fill and a rosy tint
Did I mention I need some more pictures? ;) Wish me warm weather and shooting.

Dark Monday
Literally. Daylight Savings Time this weekend = one hour less of sleep = much darker in the a.m. = Kay.is.not.too.happy.today. But who's counting?
I guess I'll share a few layouts. The first three are using the line "Stella Rose" from My Minds Eye. Brown with a puch of bright color = love. (And yes, I recognize my overuse of equations today. I'm a math teacher. Can't stop myself.)
And a rare two-pager for Project 12. I'm going to participate this year. I need a challenge, and I need to break out of my usual. I used the remains of my February Studio Calico kit for this one.
