One of the hot new trends in scrapbooking is to look for inspiration from color. This was my starting point. I've never been a huge fan of orange, but with these colors? I'm in love!!!
For my layout, I went with the cream/neutral background, a ton of orange, and a little bit of teal. I thought this pattern from Soul Food incorporated some of the melon color as well.
I also looked for some inspiration from the design of the room itself. Like the pillow and the impact of the swirly lace
And the shape of the three frames
And here is my finished layout, incorporating both the color inspiration, as well as some of the design elements. I puncded a swirly border from the pillow inspiration. And the frames made an appearance as well.
Supplies:
- Soul Petit Orange paper (Soul Food)
- Chipboard Butterfly Stickers (Soul Food)
- Tying the Knot paper (Sweet Surrender) - grey stripe
- Bloom paper (Ava Collection) - teal scallop
Now off to redecorate my bedroom. In orange. ;)

Wonderful colour palette, so lively and bold (but not glaring). I could see it working well for a travel page (especially to some place teaming with vibrantly coloured markets like Morocco or India), too.
Thanks for the delightful palette and inspiration!
