A canvas share

I made this set of three altered canvases for Lily Bee using papers from their Harvest Market collection, with a few papers from the Memorandum line thrown in. I also used these great stamps.

A Digi Day

With winter in full force, I'm struggling to keep busy during the evening hours. I need a distraction. So last night I printed out my PL photos and sat and cut these ADORABLE journaling cards. I printed a few pages and went to town. It's something to do, right?

And as luck would have it, when you purchased anything from her store you got this digi kit free. SCORE! So I made this digi layout. Turns out I like digi. I can be MESSY with digi, a look I can't quite pull off in traditional scrapping.It's a Christmas kit in non-traditional colors. Love it!

A share of sorts

I think I have creative ADD. Lately I jump from one project to another, and feel like there is not enough time to make what I want to make. I blame Pinterest. If you aren't signed up yet, what re you waiting for?

I am so into making mixed media canvases of late. On Thanksgiving the tradition for the ladies of the house is a late-night trip to Michaels followed by a holiday craft. This year I talked them all into making a mixed media canvas inspired by Christy Tomlinson. I am a huge stalker fan of Christy's and check out her blog on a daily basis. She does so many videos sharing her process, and offers classes as well. Someday I hope to take one!

Here are a few hard at work. The table was FILLED with junk supplies.

Here is Jenna's canvas! She had a few moody moments but in the end pulled it together and made a beautiful piece!

We each had our own style and decided what we liked and didn't like. I made a new one I will share on the Lily Bee Blog soon.

Also I'm taking a free class from Jessica Sprague online on Holiday Memories. Like I need to do more crafting.

Project Life - Week 2

OK, I'm a bit behind on sharing my PL pages. I've got to tell you I am LOVING this process. Now I need to figure out how to photograph the dang thing. Between the fact that the sun goes down around 5 p.m. and the glare of the page protectors I am failing. Miserably.

December Daily

Happy December! I decided to play along with the "December Daily" movement this year, making an album before the month even began and filling it as the month goes on. I went SIMPLE for my album. Almost embarrassingly so. I bought a WRMK 8.5 x 11 binder, some page protectors, numbers from Elle's Studio, and the blank pages from Designer Digitals.

I know, it's kind of lame in comparison to the other projects I've seen, but it's a lot better than what I did last year, which was NOTHING. ;) I do have all 25 pages made, which feels GREAT.

I found this list that I am using as a guide for my photos.
