It's been a while. The weather has been AMAZING in Michigan, and we have been taking full advantage of it by hanging outside whenever possible. By the time we come in, it's bedtime. As such, no creative endeavors, but some quality family time. It's amazing how much warm weather can improve the mood. Now the allergies? They are taking a bit of getting used to.
So onto the changes. As my year with GCD and Lily Bee comes to a close, I thought I would share my last two projects with these teams. I had a blast with both, and wish them all the best.
First up, GCD. I love the colors in this new line called Splendor. I modeled the page off a free template from Designer Digitals, and added the photos to the film strips and cut them out. I then finished the page, adding some tickets cut with my Cameo.
Then Lily Bee, I used a new line called Buttercup. Man, am I in love with the colors in this line! I busted out my Cameo again and made my own element. Totally unlike me, as I am obsessively simple. It was fun to break out of my habits though.
I feel fortunate to have all of these opportunities, for sure. And to top it all off, I just had three projects chosen for a new idea book called "For the Home" from Scrapbook Trends. They are all projects using Lily Bee, which is the best way for me to say thanks for the opportunity to design. It's a reminder of why I choose to design. It keeps me creating and trying new things. It forces me to MAKE TIME to create, which I wouldn't do without the deadlines.
And I look forward to this year with Webster's Pages and Simple Stories. Exciting changes, to be sure!
