Just sharing a quick and simple Halloween layout using these Halloween Printables from Elle's Studio, Acrylic Shapes and Glitter Foam from Elle's Studio, black cardstock, and Washi tape for the border. These pics were from last Halloween. Can't wait to take more pics today!
I love fall. The colors are amazing, and the fall lines that come out are my absolute favorite. So I actually scrapped a layout FOR MYSELF, (hasn't happened in over a year) using a mix of products from the Wonder Collection from Crate Paper and Pink Paislee's fall line Cedar Lane.
My daughter and son-in-law (plus grandpuppy!) surprised us at a Soccer Tournament as they passed through town. It just made our day!
The florals of the PP papers just make me happy!!!
This is my last week of PL with Hip Kit Club. I had a blast designing for Kimberly, and was bummed when my term was over. But as if often the case, one door closed and another opened. I am so very grateful for the opportunities I've been given in this hobby. I still love it as much as I did 13 years ago when I started. More on that new opportunity soon! (November 1, to be exact.)
I'm a tiny bit (3 weeks) behind, which is unlike me. Planning on a little catch-up session on Friday. Wish me luck!\
My term with Hip Kit Club is winding down, but I am still having fun with the September Kits. I just love the floral paper from Amy Tan, and thought it worked perfectly with this picture of my Jenna and her friend Evynn.
I kept the layout linear (no surprise, right?) and I split the journaling card above and below the photo to add a space to journal that wasn't too big.
I also inked the edges of everything to add some dimension to the page. There were a bunch of camera die cuts in the kit, which fit this page because we were at a Photography Club shoot when this photo was taken.
Trying to keep up on this blogging thing. Wish me luck!
for World Card Making Day! I'm not so good at making cards . . . something about my simple style and that small canvas just makes me freeze. But for a crafter's holiday, I gave it a shot.
I used Webster's Pages and Crate Paper frames. I kept it all neutral, and like how they turned out!
The images inside the frames are from this paper:
And the frames are from Crate Paper
By the way, I realized the number of unused, unopened packages of these frames probably qualifies me for the TV show "Hoarders." Yikes! Here is a link so you can hoard purchase your own from several companies. Don't say I didn't warn you though!
