Here is a layout using the Home Printables from Elle's Studio, as well as the Thankful collection. I don't use my Silhouette enough, so I'm challenging myself to use it more. And Print-and-Cut is a really easy thing to learn!
I love fall. The colors are amazing, and the fall lines that come out are my absolute favorite. So I actually scrapped a layout FOR MYSELF, (hasn't happened in over a year) using a mix of products from the Wonder Collection from Crate Paper and Pink Paislee's fall line Cedar Lane.
My daughter and son-in-law (plus grandpuppy!) surprised us at a Soccer Tournament as they passed through town. It just made our day!
The florals of the PP papers just make me happy!!!
Over Spring Break I finally had a chance to play with the new lines from Webster's Pages. I find that sometimes I need a change, so I decided to mix up my layout size from 12x12 to 8.5 x 11. It was a little creative boost, and it was fun!
I did another week of Project Life using the February kit from Elle's Studio.
These January and February weeks aren't so action-packed . . . I am in hibernation, after all. ;) But the "fan-club" selfie we took at Jenna's band concert, along with her selfie with her band friends? They make me smile. Glad I'm capturing these little things. Really glad.
So we returned from Harrisville just in time for Em and Kevin to come home to visit for 5 days. We ate a lot. One day we had a mediterranean feast with Greek skewers, salad, and tiropitas. We also did a big ribs/corn/potatos bbque.
Played a lot
Headed off to the fireworks
Played some more
Turns out sissy can throw a football
Waiting . . .
Still waiting . . .
Here we go!
One day we went to the florist for the wedding, and spent the day shopping for wedding dresses. It was a last-minute plan, and I think Em tried on 20+ dresses. Jenna, Jayne and I got a little slap-happy waiting.
And guess what? WE FOUND THE DRESS. She looked amazing in everything, but you just know when you find the one. And we did.
We spent the evening talking about the dress, and played some more. Turns out sissy dominates in PIG as well.
We celebrated Jenna's bday as a family, as the kids would be back in Chicago on the big day. Nelli got in on the action.
The only thing that threw a wrench in our time together was mom falling and needing surgery THE DAY we can go and get the dress. Who knew we would spend our time in the hospital visiting grammy.
In the end the surgery went well, and we had time to run and get the dress before the kids left. They ran into traffic on the way home, but made it home safely.
